Caroline Le, Director/Writer
Caroline H. Le is a graduate student filmmaker currently completing an M.A. in visual and media art at Emerson College. Over the past four years, Caroline has directed and produced several short narratives and documentaries, such as Things I'll Never Say (2005), an exploration of the perplexity of Asian American teen angst and love triangles. Her credits also include: assistant director of Out at the Library: Queer Youth Speak (2005); talent and camera of the San Jose State University reality show, Making It Right: One Episode at a Time (2005); grip production assistant and supporting cast member of Fiona's Script (Myanh Films, 2009); and director/producer of TiL: I Am (2006) and Too Much Plaid (2008). Her past works have been screened at the San Francisco Frameline Film Festival, Boston Asian American Film Festival, and the Queer Women of Color Film Festival. She is presently working on her master's thesis project, La Petite Salon (2009).
Paul Moore, Director of Photography
Asian American filmmaker Paul Moore grew up in Japan and the United States before attending Emerson College. His international upbringing has influenced him in wanting to make films that deal with intercultural themes. He sees the exploration of ethnic, cultural and national diversity as important themes that do not get discussed enough in film. Paul is currently a senior at Emerson College pursuing a bachelor's degree in film production and has extensive internship experience in cinematography, editing and production.
Catherine Dinh, Co-Producer
A producer by day, performer by night, Catherine works as production staff at an indie video game development company, while also finding time to perform as a drag king in the Bay Area. She was one of the subjects for a drag king indie documentary, "All Of Me," and an extra in the narrative "Labels are Forever" which premiered at the Queer Women of Color Film Festival in 2008. She is conversationally fluent in Vietnamese and Japanese.
Bao Thien Ngo, Co-Producer
bao.thien.ngo, a professional jack-of-all-trades like his role model Nathan Myhrvold, is a graphic designer, writer, computer programmer, marketing specialist, film editor, event manager, researcher and social entrepreneur. He was the co-editor of the film Things I'll Never Say (2005). Currently he is the co-owner of Phango Team, an affiliate of KAIEOS, along with his business partner Tam Phan. Their first project was establishing a Vietnamese-targeted line of apparel, h?t-x?y! He continues to volunteer as a founding member of UVSA Northern California, a coalition of Vietnamese Student Associations. His interests include studying leadership theory and organizational studies, postclassical science, Vietnamese history and philosophy, and web technology.
